Photos from the Wax Presentations

Spiral Q + pics

After everything was said and done, after the sustainability spectacle, and after getting to know the Spiral Q people (homestead dinner!), it was sad to see them go. I originally had become excited about working with them to create this spectacle after I learned that we were going to be using a "greener campus and more sustainable campus" as the theme, especially after I found out that the Environmental Studies Dept. wanted to be involved. I'm glad I had the opportunity to work with Spiral Q; to actually be involved in a demonstration on campus that I believe in, but also I'm glad I had the opportunity to make friends and learn how to make large-scale puppets!

Final Project

For my final project, I would like to do something that continues along the line of my topic – the Built Environment. I was thinking that I could do some charcoal drawings of some of the following pictures – pictures showing the conflict between human development and natural areas and how they are connected.
